Michael Capalbo, D.M.D.
Dr. Michael Capalbo was the first of the third generation of Capalbo dentists to follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps. Michael’s vision and commitment have been vital to the expansion of Plum Dental. Like his father and grandfather before him, “Dr. Mike’s” calming bedside manner and passion for dentistry have earned him a loyal following.
Dr. Capalbo graduated from Providence College in 2001 Magna Cum Laude and received his dental degree from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2006. He attends (and sometimes teaches) continuing education classes to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry.
He’s an avid golfer, spends spare time at Seaside Beach Club, and enjoys traveling with his family.
Michelle Garnache, D.M.D.
Dr. Michelle Garnache is originally from the West Coast but has grown to love the Northeast, specifically Rhode Island. She obtained her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. After working alongside her stepmom in Oregon, who is also a Tufts graduate, she decided she loved Rhode Island and needed to return here. Her focus in the dental office is to help patients feel at ease and fully informed on their dental health. She is very excited to be part of our amazing team but we are even more excited that she has joined us. She welcomes anyone who would like to receive her quality, compassionate care. She will help you love your smile!
In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, exploring beautiful parts of Rhode Island, crocheting, finding new music and reading.
Catelynn graduated in 2014 from the Community College of Rhode Island as a Dental Assistant. In 2018 she graduated again as a Dental Hygienist. Catelynn was the president of her Dental Hygiene Class of 2018 and won the Albert E. Carlotti award for Outstanding Leadership. She is extremely passionate about her career and only wants the best for her patients. Her goal as a hygienist is to help patients feel confident about their smiles. Originally from Bristol, RI, she now resides in Coventry, RI. In her spare time she loves taking her dog for walks and being outside by the water.

I have been in the dental field since 2005. After many years at an orthodontic practice, I transitioned into general dentistry. I strive to help anxious patients of any age feel more comfortable and always listen to their concerns. It is a joy to see patients’ confidence grow when they achieve a healthy, beautiful smile and I am grateful to be part of a highly qualified team here at Capalpbo Dental.
